University of Calabria: Tuesday, March 1 inaugurated the headquarters of the student council, dedicated to the memory of "Eugenio Miceli." Reopened after many years of defection, thanks to the efforts of a team of young representatives to heart with the good fortunes of the University of Calabria. Cut the ribbon, the president of CDS dell'Unical, Domenico Cambrea, Vice President Alfonso Rugna and ir appresentanti students in the Board of Directors Emilio D'Acri and Ferenc Macri. After a moment the application, held in the press room of the Great Hall "B. Andreatta, "which featured speeches by family members, close friends, vicar of the Administrative Director, Dr. Fulvio Scarpelli, mayor of Grimaldi, Professor Fabiano Delly wanted to draw some significant moments of life ; the young student Eugenio Miceli, a former representative died prematurely last August arousing deep emotion. Afterwards, all participants went in procession in the restored home of the Security Council, at the place where, after the greeting of the Rector Prof. Giovanni Latorre, Father Luigi Cortese, of the university parish "St. Paul the Apostle" has blessed the commemorative plaque and the premises with a short liturgical rite. During his speech, the Chancellor, welcoming the initiative and reiterates its commitment to staff, stressed the importance of bringing together around a table for consultation, the representation of student groups and student associations regularly credited as ; tool to promote several objectives: cooperation between the students' reality, to improve planning, information and communication about their activities, reduce the gap between cities and universities in fostering dissemination of knowledge outside the university and establishing links between the association and the university and outside cultural and social realities. The President Domenico Cambrea on behalf of the entire Board of Students, during the demonstration expressed feelings of "esteem" to the Chancellor and the entire administration for the successful and continuous availability that occur every day in favor of
all student representation.
