Fingerprint On Inside Of Lens

RECRUITMENT

The Administration has decided to make full-bodied new hires. We are now at the end of mandate and it is difficult to give an operational justification for an increase in staff. The end-of assumptions are not very effective for the administration in office and expensive for what will follow, which also could not concurs with the decision. The end-of assumptions
always smell of patronage logic.

From 2004 to 2007, the average cost of personnel increased by 16%.
An employee costs on average € 31,000 in 2004, 36,000 and well at the end of 2007. An average increase of € 5,000 per employee in three years, a cost now clearly out of control. Take is definitely an act of irresponsibility, with serious repercussions on the economy of the town next year.

The commissioner said that new recruits would serve to increase operational efficiency and in the machine hall.

Today we have 310 employees. In 2000 we had 340, but can anyone say that then, with 30 employees in more than now, things work better? We

claims for arrears in housing owned by the city for € 400,000 accumulated over the years, and although the staff were most numerous, no one has ever taken to recover them. There are lots for sale in Cologno, totally abandoned, which for decades had to be collected by the municipality in accordance with the agreements concluded with the manufacturers, but no one has ever taken over the problem. It would
long list of failures, proving that you do not need to have more staff to solve problems.

Perhaps the current inefficiency of the machine does not depend on the number of municipal employees. Maybe it depends on the appalling organizational boundaries of the politicians, all alike, too long in power.
