Installing Electrical Outlets
The project consisted of a village made of low buildings (2 floors) with a central park, and classrooms for after-school recreation, a greenhouse, a music room, a theater auditorium, a dining hall cafeteria, a bar, a guardian, and staff ready to intervene at the slightest need.
14 single-family apartments (each with 77 square meters). 90 beds to be allocated to non-EU citizens in conditions of hardship (ROM).
Our directors, known for conpiaciuta solidarity, have not found a better location than that of an adjacent composting plant (now known for the frequent discharges of foul smells), and designed to inter alia the Convention at the planting of tall trees for environmental mitigation.
The real political promoter of this initiative was the President of the Province of Milan, Filippo Penati, who, after many failed attempts to find some common provisions to implement the project, found a militant of his party (our mayor), which respectful of hierarchies, obeyed promptly (before the party, then the rest).
The reaction was violent in the city. He was born the committee on public protection (Rocco Pandiscia) and Councillor Zocchi Franco came in protest of the majority. Both fought against this project and after two years of meetings, public meetings and open council, managed to persuade the region to address the funding elsewhere (about 2 million euro).
The promoters have made use of the State Council, which called on the Region to refinance the project.
This administration does not have the courage to say so openly in a few months before the elections, but he wants to make sure the Village, and unfortunately if he wins, he will.
Franco Zocchi
